Based in Norwich, Norfolk, ScalPerfection was started in 2019 by Grant Emerson, with the aim to be the best scalp micropigmentation artist. Here’s his story…

As my late twenties approached, I was on the verge of giving up. My hairline was no longer visible, and my confidence had deteriorated. After lots of research, I chose Scalp Micropigmentation treatment.
A year on from having the treatment and the changes I can see within myself have been great. My confidence has returned, and not only do I look younger on the outside but I also feel younger on the inside. It was one of the best decisions I had made.
Following my own experience, and needing to travel far to receive treatment, I wanted to make this service available to people within East Anglia. My personal experience of suffering baldness and having the scalp micropigmentation treatment means that I can identify the importance of the procedure for my clients. I know what this treatment can mean to someone and aim to restore their confidence by providing the best service possible.

Qualifications and Experience
I trained with one of Europe’s leading hair clinics and have an accredited level 4 scalp micropigmentation qualification, along with all the relevant and mandatory qualifications needed. It’s important to me to continue ongoing training to keep up to date with all SMP developments within the industry. Recently, I gained additional qualifications in advanced SMP treatment for hair transplant and scars, advanced SMP hairline treatment and how to identify signs of skin cancer. This check will be a free service as part of your consultation and treatment.
I am also fully DBS checked for extra reassurance.
Prior to becoming a scalp pigmentation artist, I worked for a number of years in the mental health sector, working in acute hospital settings with individuals dealing with a number of mental health issues. I’m passionate about helping people overcome their problems and be a happier, more confident version of themselves.
